In a candid interview, the captain of the Pakistani national hockey team expressed the team’s collective frustration over the lack of understanding regarding the daily challenges they face.
The captain, who chose to remain anonymous, emphasized that while the public is eager for the team to succeed, there’s little awareness about the hardships that players endure on a regular basis.
“We appreciate the support from our fans, and we understand they want us to win, but they don’t fully grasp what goes on behind the scenes,” the captain stated. “I will never cry in front of everyone and talk about the injustice to hockey players in Pakistan, but we are heartbroken.”

The captain went on to shed light on the financial struggles, inadequate facilities, and limited resources that the players confront daily. Despite these challenges, the team continues to train and compete with determination, driven by their love for the sport and loyalty to representing their country.
