The fund was approved after a formal request from the Pakistan Film Producers Association. Special thanks were given to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Minister Azma Bukhari, and Marriyum Aurangzeb for their role in making the project possible.
Mr. Rafique called this a game-changer for the film industry, as it not only supports film production but also encourages cultural storytelling and regional identity.
Who Can Apply for the Film Fund?
All members of the Pakistan Film Producers Association, regardless of province, were eligible to apply. However, submitted projects are expected to reflect Punjab’s culture and traditions.
To ensure transparency, each applicant must submit:
