1. It all starts from the top. I have seen #CEOs complaining about org #culture where as they do not realize. It is their fault. Wasim Khan became first British Asian CEO of Leicestershire after a great season. Current chairman is a political hire ruining the entire org culture. Last 3 years multiple #leadership changes occurred causing instability to the org.
2. #Political people ignore merit because they want to maintain their power clan. #Csuite of certain type of toxic CEO share same toxic traits. Dr. Sohail saleem and their #team ruined Ehsanullah injury/career. Resources like Dr. Zafar Iqbal (Current Arsenal team medical head) in the past were part of PCB Medical board. Losing talent is a problem as well.
3. Lack of team structure, work flow model & #decisionmaking. If one person is not given the right authority and multiple people are responsible for a decision – SHIT HAPPENS. Current selection committee does not have a leader, no final authority. Five member team with Wahab, Yousuf, Razzaq, Asad & others. Hassan Ali (Selected in Ireland series) & Shadab preferred over Muhammad Ali (Highest PSL wicket taker) and Abrar. Technically sound players ignored like Kamran Ghulam while Azam khan getting selected.
4. PCB #dataanalyst is x-minister for environment. Wrong people hire wrong people in the company where HR is the weakest #department and decisions are made directly from top.
5. Out of complex & not on the basis of technical requirement, We sometimes hire leaders from abroad that do not understand how to manage local teams. Though we have success with foreign coaches but similar local brilliance have been seen with Rahul Dravid & Ravi Shastri being local head coach of team India. Local leaders better understand the local culture and team management.
