Web Desk, May 31, 2025 — Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand was crowned Miss World 2025 during a ceremony at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, marking Thailand’s first victory in the pageant’s 72-year history.
Suchata Chuangsri triumphed over 107 other contestants to claim the title, receiving her crown from outgoing Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszková. Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje Admassu finished as first runner-up, while Poland’s Maja Klajda secured second runner-up and Martinique’s Aurélie Joachim took third runner-up honors .
In total, eight finalists were favored to take the crown, each representing a different region. Before the final question-and-answer round, these contestants had emerged as frontrunners based on fast-track events, interviews, and preliminary judging.
