A standout feature of this project is its remarkable timeline. Initially projected to take six months, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s hands-on approach and consistent oversight led to the completion of the Bedian Road Underpass in just 70 days—a historic milestone for Pakistan’s infrastructure.
Spanning 940 meters at a total cost of Rs 2.10 billion, the Underpass is poised to substantially enhance traffic flow, accommodating approximately 120,000 vehicles daily. This achievement promises enduring relief for Bedian, Cantt, Defense, and nearby residents, offering a tangible solution to traffic snarls in the area.
