Mobile Internet Suspension in Balochistan is set to begin from 5 pm on September 5 and will continue until 9 pm on September 6. The provincial Home Department has formally requested the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), via the Interior Ministry, to discontinue 3G and 4G services across the region to ensure public safety during religious gatherings of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Mobile Internet Suspension in Balochistan. This measure will also apply to PTCL and NTC wireless internet networks in Quetta, Khuzdar, Mastung, Sibi, and Nushki. Authorities say the suspension is purely preventive, aimed at curbing potential misuse of mobile data during processions, rather than responding to any specific threat.

Residents have been encouraged to plan for communication alternatives ahead of time and have been assured that security personnel and emergency teams will remain alert throughout the period.
