Filmstar Meera has registered a complaint about a robbery incident at her home at a Lahore police station. She has accused her domestic worker for this ‘big’ theft.
Meera, also known as Irtiza Rabab, reported a major theft at her residence in Lahore, suspecting her domestic help, Qasim, of stealing jewelry and a wristwatch.
Meera discovered the theft upon returning home late at night and found her valuables missing from a trunk. The stolen items include two diamond sets worth Rs 8 million and a wristwatch worth Rs2 million.
Meera filed an FIR and requested the police to arrest the suspect and recover the stolen items. Police are conducting raids in search of Qasim.
Meera has been a prominent figure in the Pakistani and Indian film industries since her debut in the 1990s.
When she asked the domestic help workers present at her home, she found out that one of them, named Qasim, was not there and his phone was also unreachable or switched off.
“I strongly suspect that my belongings have been stolen by my house help Qasim,” she said while mentioning the total worth of the stolen items.
