Popular Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who recently got married to her boyfriend Salim Karim last year is set to celebrate her first wedding anniversary in the month of October.
Being very private about her life affairs, the Maula Jatt actor was as unexpected as a rose blooming in the middle of winter; she wished her husband on his special day in a very sweet message that left many of her fans giddy up.
The beloved actress took to Instagram to share a cozy picture, where she is seen tightly hugging Salim against a beautifully lit backdrop, presumably from one of their wedding festivities.
Not only did the picture express their relationship, but the birthday message was very sweet. “Happy birthday my jaaaan, Mahira wrote, adding a special note for her followers, “P.S please make a small dua [prayer] for us. Would be lovely.”
This personal look into mahira’s life struck a chord with her fans as they took to the comments and showered the couple with love and prayers. One fan wrote “May Allah keep you both happy always!! while another wished, “Stay blessed M. Mashallah.”
As for the picture, it was a throwback to one of the events during Mahira and Salim’s wedding festivities, where she wore a red and white floral lehnga and choli. The outfit was a fusion of Eastern and Western attire as the skirt like lehnga was paired with a chunri dupatta.
