An eight-year-old girl was killed after a leopard entered a residential area near the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Hattian Bala district on Sunday, police reported. Leopard attack Azad Kashmir.
The tragic incident occurred in Pando Nala, a village around 15 kilometers from Chinari and 65 kilometers from the regional capital, Muzaffarabad. According to officials, the wild animal entered the courtyard of a house, snatched the young girl, and fled into nearby woods.
Family members and locals immediately launched a search operation, combing the fields and forest areas to find the child. Leopard attack Azad Kashmir. After three hours of intense searching, the girl’s body was discovered in thick vegetation. Police said the leopard had bitten the girl on the neck. And appeared to have sucked her blood before escaping back into the forest.
