Islamabad police have arrested lawyer Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir and her husband.
According to reports, a case has been registered against them at Aabpara Police Station, citing charges related to interference in government affairs along with other offenses.
It is noteworthy that Imaan Mazari, the daughter of prominent politician and former Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari, and her husband had an altercation with police officials two days ago. The incident occurred when the couple allegedly attempted to break through a security route set up for the England cricket team. A scuffle broke out between Imaan’s husband and police officers, and the confrontation was captured in a video that quickly went viral on social media.
