Laptop battery explosion: 4 died, three in critical condition

FAISALABAD (APP): Two more victims of the laptop battery explosion in Faisalabad have died in the Burn Unit of Allied Hospital, raising the death toll to four.

Incident Details:

• The explosion of a Laptop battery occurred in a house on Satiana Road, Mohallah Sharifpura, Faisalabad.
• Initial victims of laptop battery explosion: 9-year-old Talha and his 6-year-old sister, Dua Fatima, died on Wednesday.
• Additional casualties: Farhat (45), her son Makki Raza (24), grandson Rehan Raza (8), granddaughter Eman Fatima (4), Nargas (32), her son Muhammad Ibrahim (3), and Rashida (40) sustained serious injuries.

Recent Deaths:

• Nargas (32) and her son Muhammad Ibrahim (3) succumbed to their injuries today.
• Three others remain in critical condition.

Response and Investigation:

• The victims were transported by Rescue-1122 to Allied Hospital’s Burn Unit.
• Police are currently investigating the incident.
