The suspect took out funds from my bank account by using my ATM. I am asking for my money and the registration book of the car to be given back to me.
The court sent a notification to the prosecution regarding the request for the return of items and has requested a reply by September 28th.
Khalilur-Rehman, together with the primary suspect Amna Arooj, accomplices Hassan Shah, and Rafiq alias Feki, are presently in custody on judicial remand in the honey trap and abduction for ransom investigation.
On July 15, 2024, it was reported that Khalilur Rehman Qamar, a famous script writer from Pakistan, was supposedly kidnapped and mugged in Lahore.
After being released due to a ransom payment, he informed the police about the incident on July 21.
Qamar was said to have been asked to come to Amna Arooj’s house on the pretext of talking about a drama project.
However, his lawyer claims that he was taken by people armed with weapons.
However, Amna Arooj’s lawyer asserts that Qamar’s manager initially contacted Amna under the guise of professional interest.
As per the lawyer, Qamar allegedly proposed to help Amna with her showbiz career, but only if she agreed to his specific terms.
The lawyer also disclosed that these exchanges, which include damaging conversations, are said to be on a cell phone that police officials, including DIG, DSP, and Investigation Officer Imran Yousuf, have access to.
The lawyer of Amna states that Qamar then demanded another meeting, during which he showed up drunk and pushed her for a sexual relationship, warning her that he would release photos if she said no.
Hasan Shah, who was labeled as the suspected ringleader, later showed up and allegedly abducted Amna and Qamar, although specific information about what happened to them is still unknown.
Amna later claimed that she was tortured by the police and insisted that they pressured her into falsely describing the incident as a honey trap. The situation is still evolving with important advancements.
