Christine Baumgartner has filed for divorce from Kevin Costner, with whom she has been married since September 2004.
The couple has three children together, sons Cayden, 15, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 12. Costner, who also has four older children from previous relationships, expressed his sadness in a statement released by his representative, citing circumstances beyond his control that have led to the dissolution of their marriage.
The actor had previously praised his wife’s impact on their family life, saying that her love and care had made their home a more beautiful and welcoming place.
Costner’s role in the hit series Yellowstone has been the subject of recent rumors, with some speculating that he may leave the show to focus on his upcoming film Horizon. Despite this, Paramount’s president of development and production, Keith Cox, has expressed confidence that Costner will continue with the series.
