Karachi people professionalism came under discussion when actress Maimoona Qadoos spoke openly in a recent podcast. She claimed that Karachi people are so professional that even while making girlfriends, they deal like business. Her comments quickly caught attention on social media.
During the podcast, Maimoona Qadoos compared Karachi with Lahore’s showbiz industry. She said that Karachi people professionalism is on another level, while in Lahore, there is more negativity and showbiz scandals. According to her, the trend of homosexuality in the industry started in Lahore, where she claimed such activities are more common and even take place openly at parties.
She admitted that similar things exist in Karachi too, but not as much as Lahore. Maimoona further added that people in Lahore often show off wealth they do not really have, while Karachi people stay practical and professional.
The actress stressed that in Karachi, people do nothing without benefit. She explained that even in relationships, men clearly tell girls what they will get if they agree to become a girlfriend, otherwise they simply walk away.
Maimoona also spoke about casting couch culture, stating that both men and women have been victims. She highlighted that harassment is not limited to women, and men also suffer in the entertainment world.
