Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Sonam Kapoor for insulting her over her English-speaking skills. Kangana shared two videos on her Instagram, featuring Sonam’s appearance on Koffee With Karan. In the video clip, Karan asked Sonam who she would give the ability to speak English fluently to, among celebrities.
Without hesitation, Sonam took Kangana’s name, leaving the Tanu Weds Manu actress disheartened. Kangana responded by mocking Anil Kapoor’s daughter.
She expressed, “Through my years of battles with the film industry, I have learned that no outsider should ever be ridiculed for their lack of English-speaking skills. Furthermore, that show has now officially ended.”
Kangana went on to say, “Please don’t miss my comeback in the end. Even at 24, despite facing open bullying, humiliation, and mockery, I demonstrated grace, sophistication, articulation, and humility that these English-speaking gossip aunties, with their so-called superior upbringing, can never match.” The 36-year-old actress concluded her statement.
On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut is preparing to portray the role of former Indian Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, in her upcoming film titled Emergency. The movie is scheduled for release on November 24.
