Nishat Motors is officially raising the price of the locally assembled Jaecoo J7 PHEV, as its introductory offer is set to expire this month. The company confirmed that the special launch price was always temporary — and now buyers will have to pay significantly more for the plug-in hybrid SUV.
Introductory Price Ending Soon
The Jaecoo J7 SHS PHEV was initially launched at a limited-time price of Rs. 9,999,000, giving early customers a major price advantage. NexGen Auto had announced from day one that this offer would only be available for a short period.
Starting December 1, the introductory offer ends, and the price will increase by Rs. 500,000, bringing the new official price to:
Rs. 10,499,000
A Mid-Size PHEV with Strong Features
The Jaecoo J7 PHEV has gained attention as a mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV assembled locally in Pakistan. The model is available in two variants: Comfort and Premium, both sharing the same hybrid powertrain but differing in interior features and safety equipment.
Key performance highlights include:
-
1.5L turbocharged engine
-
342 horsepower
-
525 Nm torque
-
18.3 kWh battery
-
Up to 90 km pure electric range (WLTP)
Performance and Efficiency
The SUV uses a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, designed for smoother and more efficient power delivery. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 8.5 seconds, making it competitive for its segment.
Fuel efficiency is another strong point, with a combined average of around 16.6 km per liter, depending on driving style and conditions.
Warranty Details
Nishat Motors is offering strong warranties to boost buyer confidence:
-
6-year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty
-
8-year / 160,000 km battery warranty
These warranties are among the most competitive in Pakistan’s hybrid and PHEV segment.
What This Price Increase Means for Buyers
For anyone considering the Jaecoo J7 PHEV, this is likely the last opportunity to purchase the SUV at under Rs. 1 crore. With the price rising next month, the updated rate places the model in a more premium bracket — but it also reflects its strong specs, hybrid tech, and growing demand.
