KARACHI- Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam engaged in discussions with Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice Maqbool Baqar during a meeting in Karachi today. The focus of the talks revolved around bilateral trade and shared interests.
Expressing joint concern, both leaders strongly criticized Israel’s ongoing violence against innocent Palestinians in Gaza. Chief Minister Baqar informed that the border market between Iran and Pakistan has been opened, contributing to an annual trade volume of $2.4 billion.
During the meeting, they emphasized the need to further amplify trade and explored the idea of establishing a simplified banking system. The leaders delved into various aspects of trade and reinforced the importance of maintaining friendly relations between the two nations.
