InDrive has revealed plans to introduce electric motorcycles to its fleet in Pakistan, transforming the nation’s transportation scene. The ride-hailing giant has joined forces with local electric vehicle startup, Vlektra, to roll out its eco-friendly scooters across Pakistani roads.
This initiative positions inDrive as the first ride-hailing company in the country to embrace electric scooters as part of its service offerings.
Roman Ermoshin, Director of the APAC region at inDrive, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that it represents a significant stride in their dedication to sustainability and innovation in Pakistan. He emphasized how this joint venture is propelling a tangible shift towards a cleaner, eco-conscious future in the region.

Fatiq Bin Khursheed, Co-founder of Vlektra, hailed the collaboration as a pioneering move in Pakistan’s ride-hailing landscape, introducing electric vehicles to foster sustainable mobility. In an effort to raise awareness about electric vehicles and environmental sustainability, inDrive has launched an engaging contest. As part of this initiative, the company will reward its top-performing drivers with free electric bikes, reinforcing their commitment to a greener and cleaner tomorrow.
