A bomb threat on an Indian passenger plane traveling from Ahmedabad to London prompted the Ahmedabad air traffic control to contact Karachi air traffic control. However, the plane was diverted to Afghanistan instead.
After the bomb scare, panic spread among passengers on the flight from Ahmedabad to London.
Ahmedabad air traffic control requested assistance from Karachi’s air traffic control, and the Pakistani controllers communicated with the Indian pilot via radio. The Indian pilot responded by saying that he could handle the situation and would land the plane in London as planned.
Following this, Karachi air traffic control guided the pilot in accordance with international aviation laws and safely directed the aircraft through Pakistani airspace, allowing it to proceed toward Afghanistan.
It’s worth noting that several bomb threats on Indian planes have been circulating this month, putting Indian intelligence agencies on high alert.
