Pravesh Shukla, the individual who was captured on video urinating on a tribal laborer, has been apprehended during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. The video of the incident had gone viral, prompting widespread calls for action against Shukla. It was only on Tuesday, six days after the occurrence in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district, that the police finally obtained the video.
This act by #PraveshShukla of the #BJP shall stay in the minds of every Indian for a long time to come.
The treatment of a poor tribal by an upper caste #Sanghi captures the injustice and atrocities under #ModiRegime accurately.

According to a senior police official, Pravesh Shukla has been arrested and is currently undergoing interrogation.
An FIR (First Information Report) has been registered against Shukla under Sections 294 (related to obscene acts) and 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of the peace) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), as well as under the SC/ST Act. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in response to the viral video, has also instructed the authorities to charge Shukla under the National Security Act.
Singh Chouhan stated that the government will ensure the “harshest possible punishment” for the accused to set an example.
“We will not spare the culprit under any circumstances,” he declared. When questioned about allegations that the accused belonged to the BJP, Chouhan emphasized, “Criminals have no caste, religion, or party. A criminal is simply a criminal. He will not be let off.”
Supporting these sentiments, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra stated, “Regardless of the political party he is associated with, anyone who commits a mistake will be punished.”
