ISLAMABAD- Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah al Humaid, reached Islamabad on Wednesday on his four-day visit aimed at strengthen the long standing ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Welcoming the esteemed guest were notable dignitaries, including Federal Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Federal Minister for Education Madad Ali Sindhi, Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, and other senior officials.
His schedule highlights a significant event: leading the Friday Prayer at Islamabad’s iconic Faisal Mosque.

Hailing from Buraydah, Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Saleh achieved Hafiz-e-Qur’an status at a young age of 20. With master’s and PhD degrees from Makkah’s Umm Al Qurra University, he assumed the role of an imam at Masjid Al Haram in 1983.
