Pakistan player Imad Wasim is hoping for a stronger Pakistan cricket team in the upcoming series against England. Admitting that the team lacked momentum in the past two games against New Zealand and their opening game against Ireland, Imad said that this was a good lesson for the team not to rely on their previous successes.
In some of the recent games Pakistan did not play steadily which resulted in losses. Imad Wasim: We were very poor against New Zealand and in the first match against Ireland. We have learned that it is impossible to fall into a comfort zone and that each game deserves our maximum attention.
Match against England offers another chance to redeem themselves. Imad explained the need for thorough preparation and ensuring competitiveness. England is a good side and we have to be on top of our game. We have been working on correcting some of the mistakes we had been making and also improving our overall performance during training sessions, he said.
It must be said that Pakistan cricket team has been facing bad times and the matches to be played are of utmost importance. Imad Wasim has been an important player as an all-rounder for Pakistan and has been concentrating on batting and bowling to play his part for the team. “I have started practicing so that I’m able to help the team in any and every possible way – whether it is with the bat or the ball”.
