Pakistani actors Hiba Bukhari and Arez Ahmed, known for their popular roles in Bholi Banu and Taaap, announced their first pregnancy with great excitement.
The pair, who got married in 2022, announced the news in a live stream on their official YouTube channel.
Hiba and Arez shared their happiness and also detailed their reasons for keeping their pregnancy a secret at first. Hiba expressed gratitude to their fans for their love and support. Yes, Arez and I are soon going to be parents.
“I think that pregnancy is a normal aspect of life, and in the past women used to be restricted to their homes during this period. If you are able to, you should push through and work on it.”
The couple had intended to announce the pregnancy in a video, but the news got out before they could do so. They confessed to being unsure about sharing the news sooner but ultimately chose to confront their fans about it directly after it was revealed.
The host of the TV show, Nadia Khan, was the first to announce the pregnancy, which led to some negative reactions. Nadia justified herself by stating that Arez had informed her directly and did not request confidentiality.
In their latest vlog, Hiba and Arez discussed how fake news about celebrities is being shared on social media to gain more attention. They playfully disproved a rumor about their large number of children, with Arez joking, “YouTube says we’ve had a child every year and now have six to seven kids!”
