Gold prices drop today in Pakistan as the market experienced a sharp decline after four days of stability. The price of 24-carat gold per tola fell by Rs 2,700, reaching Rs 444,162. Similarly, 10 grams of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs 2,315 to Rs 380,797. The 22-carat gold price also declined proportionately across the country.
This drop in gold prices today came amid pressure in the global market. Internationally, gold fell by $27 per ounce, reaching $4,218. The decline follows several days of steady or rising prices, signaling renewed pressure on precious metals worldwide.
In contrast, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. In Pakistan, silver per tola rose by Rs 41 to reach Rs 6,004. The price for 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 35. International silver prices also saw a slight uptick, rising by $0.41 to $57.32 per ounce.
Investors and buyers are keeping a close watch on gold prices today as the sudden dip provides both caution and opportunity. Experts suggest monitoring the market trends carefully, as precious metal prices can shift quickly based on global and domestic factors.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association confirmed the updated rates, emphasizing that gold remains a key investment option despite short-term fluctuations. Traders expect some stabilization in the coming days, but the recent drop has created a buzz among market watchers.
