Gold price in Pakistan dropped again on Thursday, October 30, 2025, following fluctuations in the international market. The decline came just a day after a brief price increase.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,000 per tola, bringing it down to Rs418,862. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs857, settling at Rs359,106. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were sold for Rs329,300, down by Rs678 compared to the previous day.
In the international market, gold price in Pakistan mirrored a global trend as gold slipped by $10, trading at $3,965 per ounce. Experts attribute the fall to a stronger US dollar and uncertain investor sentiment worldwide.
Silver, however, showed stability. The rate for 24-karat silver per tola stayed unchanged at Rs5,034, while 10 grams of silver sold for Rs4,315.
Analysts believe that currency fluctuations, along with global economic shifts, continue to influence the local gold market. Investors are now closely monitoring international gold prices and foreign exchange movements for upcoming trends.
Overall, the drop in gold price in Pakistan reflects cautious market behavior amid ongoing financial uncertainty. Traders expect prices to remain volatile as global demand and currency values continue to shift.
