‘Fast and Furious’ star Vin Diesel is in hot waters again as he has been accused of ‘sexual assault’ by his former assistant in a lawsuit filed on Thursday.
As per the lawsuit filed by Asta Jonasson against Vin Diesel, the incident occurred during the filming of Fast Five in the year 2010 which was first reported by Vanity Fair.
Asta Jonasson said that the actor forced himself on her while she was working as his assistant. Hours after the alleged assault, she was fired, the lawsuit states.
The former assistant to actor Vin Diesel is suing Diesel, his production company, and his sister for gender-based discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

Jonasson alleges sexual assault by Diesel, claiming he forcibly kissed and groped her, even masturbating in front of her. The lawsuit also accuses Diesel’s sister, who terminated Jonasson’s employment, of covering up the assault.
“Ms Jonasson felt helpless, her self-esteem was demolished, and she questioned her own skills and whether a successful career would require her to trade her body for advancement.”
Kutlay, Jonasson’s lawyer, said employers must protect and defend those who speak up about sexual assault and harassment. “We hope Ms Jonasson’s courageous decision to come forward helps create lasting change and empowers other survivors,” Kutlay said.
Jonasson had previously refrained from speaking out due to fear but was inspired by the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements. Diesel’s representatives have not commented on the lawsuit.
