Dubai will once again be the BCL Asia 2025 Dubai host, welcoming fans from across the continent for Asia’s top club basketball competition. After a successful event in 2024, Dubai has been selected to host the Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia) for the second consecutive year — a strong reflection of the city’s growing status as a regional sports hub.
The Group Phase will run from June 7 to 13 at the Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Sports Hall. After that, the Final Phase will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena, one of the Middle East’s premier venues known for large-scale sports and entertainment events.
Top Clubs Prepare for High-Stakes Showdown
Defending champions Al Riyadi (Lebanon) are set to return following their dominant performance in the FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL) Final 8. They’ll be joined by Tabiat (Iran), the WASL runners-up, along with other national league champions:
-
Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (China) – CBA Champions
-
Changwon LG Sakers (South Korea) – KBL Champions
-
Meralco Bolts (Philippines) – PBA Champions
The final two slots will be confirmed after the Japan B.League Playoffs and the BCL Asia-East Final 4, scheduled for May 30–31 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Teams still competing for qualification include the Taoyuan Pauian Pilots and New Taipei Kings (Chinese Taipei), Ulaanbaatar Xac Broncos (Mongolia), and Pelita Jaya Basketball (Indonesia).
