In a spectacular performance, Travis Head scored an impressive 137 runs, propelling the Aussies to chase down a modest target of 241 in just 43 overs. This victory halted India’s 10-game winning streak in the tournament.

Curious about the winnings? The tournament champions not only claimed the prestigious title but also bagged a substantial $4 million prize. Additionally, they earned $280,000 for their seven wins in the league stage matches.
On the other side, the runners-up, India, pocketed $2 million for their commendable performance. They also secured an extra $360,000 for playing nine group stage matches.

Rewards for the Semifinalists:
Even the losing semifinalists, New Zealand and South Africa, didn’t leave empty-handed. Both teams received $800,000 each. The Kiwis, with five wins, also gained an extra $200,000, while the Proteas, victorious in seven group stage matches, earned an additional $280,000.
Consolation Prizes:
Teams that failed to advance to the semifinals won’t go home empty-handed either. Each of them will receive a consolation prize of $100,000. Moreover, the winners of each group stage match secured a $40,000 incentive.
