Lahore – September 11, 2025:
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has unveiled a special flood relief package aimed at supporting families who lost their homes in the recent floods across the province. According to the announcement, homeowners whose property has been completely destroyed will receive Rs1 million in compensation, while those with partial damage will be provided Rs500,000.
Maryam Nawaz said the government stands firmly with the people during this difficult time. She emphasized that the relief package is designed to provide immediate financial assistance so families can begin rebuilding their lives after the devastating floods.
The CM also visited flood-affected areas to review ongoing rescue and rehabilitation operations. She directed authorities to ensure transparent and timely distribution of compensation and assured that no deserving family would be left behind.
Officials added that relief camps, medical services, and food supplies continue to be provided in affected districts, while assessments are underway to determine the full scale of losses. The provincial government has pledged to remain actively engaged until complete rehabilitation is achieved.
