Pakistan’s EV market is blossoming rapidly with two new variants of the Chinese automobile firm, Changan which have finally landed in the country.
Bookings for both variants have been started off recently after the arrival of Deepal S07 and Deepal L07 in the country.
Deepal S07
Deepal S07 is an electric SUV with an amazing 485-km range per charge. It will come with a 255-horsepower electric motor. Assuming that this model is already capable for the Indian market, it is going to be one heck of a strong SUV.
There are also six airbags, panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and all of this in the box for a worth of Rs. 16.5 million. Its features will provide a highly technological driving experience, increased safeguards, and comforts-a rear AC vent and heated seats on the list.
Deepal L07
For those who want to have a car that could go a little further, the Deepal L07 travels 540 km, so it is great for longer distances, like going from Karachi to Islamabad without the need to halt somewhere to charge it up.
The L07 is also fitted with a 255-horsepower engine and comes with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, advanced safety features that include TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), hill control, and parking sensors.
The car is priced at Rs 17.5 million, offering comfort besides the above facilities other cars in this range are offering; an electric tailgate and a stylish double spoiler.
Booking and Dealership Information
Customers interested in purchasing either variant may make a booking advance of Rs 3 million, and the deliveries will be made within 70 days.
The automobile company has also launched dealerships in the cities of Lahore and Karachi, which the company has named Changan Auto Lahore and Changan Auto Shahrah Faisal, respectively.
