Case against Health Services Academy VC. Islamabad Police have registered a case against Dr. Shehzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor of the Health Services Academy, following allegations of physical assault and injury made by a young female medical officer from Battagram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The incident reportedly occurred on July 17.
According to police sources, the complainant stated that Dr. Shehzad had appointed her as Director to the Vice Chancellor three years ago. During her tenure, she alleges that he expressed romantic interest and promised marriage, insisting it be kept secret. She claimed she demanded a public marriage, which he refused, citing potential negative repercussions for his family.
The officer further alleged that Dr. Shehzad sabotaged several of her marriage prospects and failed to fulfill his promises over an extended period. When she confronted him for clarity and resolution, she claims he assaulted her in a vehicle, resulting in injuries. A medical report from PIMS Hospital has been submitted to the Women’s Police Station.
Dr. Shehzad’s Response
Dr. Shehzad denied the allegations, stating that he had supported the officer due to her modest background. He claimed to have transferred Rs. 40 million to her account, including Rs. 10 million in cash, for the purpose of purchasing property on his behalf. However, he alleges that she resorted to blackmail during the property transfer process.
He added that he had visited her family home in Battagram and met her parents, but reconciliation efforts failed due to what he described as “unacceptable conditions” set by the officer.
University’s Action
Following the registration of the FIR, the female officer has been terminated from her position at the university.
