The incident occurred at Guards Polo Club in Windsor. Sanjay Kapur, who was playing polo, is believed to have swallowed a bee that stung him in the mouth or throat, triggering an anaphylactic reaction that led to a fatal heart attack.
Although Sona Comstar, the auto-component firm Sanjay Kapur chaired, cited a “sudden heart attack,” multiple sources, including business consultant Suhel Seth, confirmed the bee incident as a potential trigger.
