Birmingham’s Pakistani community is in deep mourning after four people, including three young Pakistanis, were killed in a devastating road accident in the UK. Relatives and friends described the victims as young, energetic, and full of promise.
According to police, the fatal crash occurred when a car collided with a taxi, leaving four people dead and five others injured. Emergency services rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals, where they are receiving medical treatment.
British media reports said three of the deceased were Pakistani youths identified as Daniyal Ali, Muhammad Mukhtar, and Farhan Patel, aged between 18 and 19 years. The fourth victim was the taxi driver, 50-year-old Masroor Ali, who also succumbed to his injuries.
Police confirmed that investigations into the cause of the accident are underway. Authorities are examining whether speeding, negligence or another factor led to the collision. The road remained partially closed for some time following the incident before traffic was restored.
News of the tragedy has sent shockwaves through the Pakistani community, particularly in Birmingham and surrounding areas, where many knew the victims and their families. Community members gathered to offer condolences, remembering the young men as hardworking and ambitious individuals whose lives were cut tragically short.
