The announcement was made during a meeting at the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Headquarters in Islamabad. Minister Naqvi also paid his respects to the martyrs of the agency by laying a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument.

In addition to fast-track services, Pakistan is setting up modern e-gates. These are self-service immigration booths that use biometric technology. Passengers with e-passports will be able to go through immigration without standing in long queues or going through manual checks.
The e-gate project is being led by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), with technical support from M2P Consulting, a German company. The goal is to improve airport services and make travel smoother and more efficient. The project is expected to be completed soon.
Minister Naqvi also ordered a strong crackdown on visa fraud mafias. He told the FIA to take strict action against those involved in fake visas and illegal travel agents.
