Azam Jamil, veteran leader with over 36 years of experience, has been appointed the Executive Director of the US-based international NGO, Children of Adam (CoA). Jamil, renowned for his transformative leadership in Pakistan’s tourism and hospitality industries, brings profound knowledge to the organization. Currently serving as the Chief Hospitality Officer at Ambiance Hotels & Resorts, he has previously held key positions, including Country Head at Siddiqi Hospitality and Chairman of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation.
Throughout his career, Azam Jamil has also been a respected leadership coach, mentoring countless professionals and spearheading impactful initiatives. His dedication to excellence continues to inspire positive change and growth across sectors.
Children of Adam, founded in 2011 and operating in Pakistan since 2021, has been a trailblazer in addressing pressing social issues. The organization’s multi-sector approach spans education, water, food, shelter, and healthcare, with a significant focus on mental health. CoA’s work in Pakistan includes the development of essential water supply facilities in Islamabad and disaster relief efforts in the aftermath of the 2022 floods, notably in the Larkana region.
One of CoA’s landmark initiatives is the construction of a Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Karachi, which will provide comprehensive mental health services. This pioneering project aims to break mental health stigmas, offering both clinical care and a supportive environment for individuals in need.
