Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has announced his split from fiancée Merub Ali, a well-known actress and model, nearly three years after their engagement in March 2022.
In a heartfelt Instagram Story shared on June 12, Asim revealed that the decision to part ways was made “peacefully and mutually” after careful reflection.
“Merub and I have chosen to move forward on separate paths, with respect and peace,” he wrote, acknowledging the meaningful moments they shared and their hopes for a future together. “Life sometimes takes its own course,” he added, expressing continued respect for each other and their families.
Azhar requested privacy and understanding from the public, stating, “We hope this is met with the same grace with which it is being shared.”
