Asad Sheikh is the first name that comes to mind when talking about the top food bloggers in Pakistan. In fact, he goes beyond being just a blogger and is considered a digital food guru.
I have been following Asad Sheikh’s Facebook page for several years now. Whenever I feel like dining out, I turn to his posts and find the best options right in front of me.
In addition to his presence on “Foodies R Us,” Asad Sheikh has organized significant food events. He also offers guidance to newcomers in the food business, helping them with decisions such as where to open restaurants, how to open them, and why they should consider the options he provides.
He has been involved in various food events, ranging from large-scale food festivals like Coke Fest to smaller events featuring brands like Seven-Up, Knorr, or Nurpur Milk. He consistently proves to be a winning factor.
If anyone wants to launch a food-based campaign, they always choose Asad Sheikh’s Facebook page as their platform.
Despite the emergence of many food pages over the past decade, none have been able to compete with Foodies R Us. While others have created food pages, they remain mere imitations in comparison. Asad Sheikh’s influence on Foodies R Us is unmatched.
This is why the page has gained widespread popularity and acceptance throughout Pakistan. As the saying goes, whenever someone is making progress and doing good work, opposition inevitably arises. Asad Sheikh faces these challenges daily. However, some individuals strategically distance themselves from negativity, like ‘Saanu Ki’ and ‘Qasmay.’
As a digital creator and blogger, Asad often faces criticism that he receives payment for writing restaurant reviews. But do other bloggers and influencers attend events for free? And when there are endorsements, they are not free either. If Asad sheds more light on this matter, it will be as illuminating as a 100-watt bulb.
After ten years of hard work and extensive travel, today, he has rightfully received the prestigious award of ‘Digital Leader of the Year.’
Congratulations, Asad Sheikh! May you always remain happy, healthy, and continue to achieve great success!
