Salman Iqbal, the CEO and founder of one of the biggest media networks in Pakistan, ARY, recently experienced one of the biggest tragedies a parent could face. His eldest daughter and first child, Sumaiya Salman Iqbal, passed away.
Sumaiya was buried in Dubai, and many people from all over the country, including celebrities and politicians, shared their condolences with Salman Iqbal and his wife, Sabeen Salman. Salman Iqbal is known for his work in the media industry in Pakistan.
He has played an important role in launching channels like ARY News and ARY Digital, and he also initiated ARY Films, which helped reprise the film industry in Pakistan. However, in the wake of this tragedy, he took some time out to thank everyone who shared in his sadness and emotions on losing his first child.
Salman Iqbal shared an emotional note expressing his grief and love for his daughter, who he called his “little angel.” He said that there is no bigger tragedy for a parent than having to bury their own child. He wished that they will meet again on the Day of Judgement as daughters will lead their parents to Jannah.
