Apple is launching generative AI features for the iPhone at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. The new tools, powered by ‘Apple Intelligence,’ include personalized Genmoji (AI-generated emoji) and a significantly enhanced Siri capable of answering detailed questions.
Apple also announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT. While this collaboration is expected to boost Apple’s capabilities, it may face challenges due to public trust issues and criticism regarding data usage in ChatGPT’s dataset.

Siri has been completely revamped so that, for example, if you ask when your mom’s flight gets in, it will scan your messages and emails from mom along with live flight tracking information to give you a completely up to date answer.
It will also start to scan emails and provide a summary, for if you don’t have time to read a long email and get to the point.

There are some updates for iPad users, with a lot of time being spent explaining how the calculator app is no longer just on the iPhone, it is also on the iPad. It can be used with the Apple Pencil and they say it is ‘changing the way you do math’.
