Netflix is raising the monthly fees for two subscription plans in the US, UK, and France, but the ad-supported plan will remain unchanged. Fortunately, this price increase does not affect subscribers in Pakistan.
And the Netflix price hikes are set to roll out to subscribers in Germany, Spain, Japan, Mexico, Australia, and Brazil next week. The basic plan’s price is rising to $12 per month, while the premium plan will cost $23 per month. The ad-supported and standard plans will not see any price changes. T
The increase comes as several competitors, including Disney Plus, Hulu, Peacock, Discovery Plus, and Paramount Plus, have implemented their own price hikes recently. Netflix is also expanding into gaming and live sports programming.

Netflix Packages in Pakistan:
Netflix offers four distinct subscription packages tailored to meet various viewing preferences and budgets in Pakistan:
- Mobile Plan (Rs. 250 per month): This newly introduced plan grants access to Netflix’s entire content catalog but is exclusively designed for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Streaming is limited to 480p quality.
- Basic Plan (Rs. 450 per month): The Basic Plan provides access to the complete content library but restricts usage to a single screen at a time, offering streaming in Standard Definition (SD).
- Standard Plan (Rs. 800 per month): The Standard Plan enhances the experience by allowing simultaneous streaming on two screens. This is ideal for sharing with friends or family members. It also offers high-definition (HD) quality streaming.
- Premium Plan (Rs. 1,100 per month): The Premium Plan offers the ultimate Netflix experience, allowing streaming on four screens simultaneously and providing access to Ultra High Definition (UHD) content. This option is cost-effective for sharing among four users.
