Bollywood superstar Salman Khan remains a target of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang following the reported attack on actor Tiger Shroff. The 60-year-old Salman Khan has been involved in a long-running dispute with the international criminal gang since 1998. The shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff has once again brought Salman Khan’s name into the headlines.
On Sunday, October 19, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the firing at the Heropanti actor in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
According to Indian media reports, a viral message shared on social media by Anil Pandit, an alleged representative of the gang, stated that he and Harman Sandhu accepted responsibility for the shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff.
The message claimed that the actor had been warned over the phone beforehand but had failed to understand the warning, prompting the group to take action to send him a stronger message.
The message also threatened individuals associated with Mumbai’s film industry who refuse to comply with the gang’s demands or work with Salman Khan.
The statement further warned that individuals linked to rival groups who attempt to gain publicity by using the Bishnoi gang’s name would also be targeted.
According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, the Bishnoi community has demanded that Salman Khan apologise to prevent similar incidents in the future.
