Saudi-led coalition forces in Yemen have announced the launch of a large-scale military operation targeting Houthi personnel and their military capabilities. According to the coalition spokesperson, 136 military targets in Houthi-controlled areas have so far been destroyed.
In multiple posts published on the social media platform X, the coalition spokesperson said the primary objective of the operation was to weaken the Houthis’ military capabilities, particularly by destroying their ballistic missile network.
The Saudi-led coalition said military operations aimed at dismantling the Houthi missile network were continuing. It also stated that Yemeni armed forces units were receiving round-the-clock air support to assist them in ongoing operations against the Houthis.
According to the coalition spokesperson, multiple airstrikes have targeted Houthi positions in different parts of Yemen. The spokesperson said these strikes were part of a broader military operation aimed at reducing the Houthis’ military capabilities and destroying their missile network.
The coalition has emphasized that its operations are continuing, with particular attention being given to the Houthi ballistic missile infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Houthi media reported that airstrikes carried out by the Saudi-led coalition had targeted several areas in Yemen’s northwestern Saada province.
