As the Lahore Outdoor Advertising Association Elections 2026 approach on September 5, the competition between the two contesting groups in Pakistan’s outdoor advertising industry is intensifying with every passing day. And now, the Outdoor Business Group (OBG) has made its most comprehensive public statement yet — releasing a detailed manifesto that speaks directly to the 70 voters who will decide the future direction of Lahore’s most organized outdoor media market.
The manifesto’s opening line sets the tone immediately: “Proven Delivery. Real Representation.”
This is not a panel of aspirants making promises. This is a panel that has held leadership roles before and is presenting a documented track record to justify another term.
The Track Record — Numbers That Speak
Before any future promise, OBG leads with what it has already delivered under the leadership of Adyan Sadiq Lone, their Chairman candidate, who industry observers consistently describe as one of the most charismatic and knowledgeable figures in Lahore’s outdoor advertising landscape.
The numbers are specific and verifiable:
Rs 500 million plus recovered for vendors. A figure that represents real money returned to real businesses that were owed it.
5 out of 5 disputes resolved within 7 to 10 days. Complete resolution record on every case taken up.
40% revenue loss averted at DHA and Cantt. Protection of existing business against regulatory threats.
4 years of zero sites lost or blocked. Not a single member’s site removed during their watch.
“Achieved under the leadership of our chairman, Adyan, and the panel. Not promises — results,” the manifesto states.
The Seven-Point Manifesto 2026 to 2029
1. Payment Discipline Written and enforced payment cycles with OMAs and clients, plus a real fix for vendor-to-vendor disputes that have historically been among the most damaging and most difficult conflicts in the industry.
2. Credit Rating System Clarity on clients, vendors, and OMAs before money changes hands, creating a pre-emptive framework that reduces disputes before they happen rather than simply resolving them after.
3. Fair Re-Auctions Wrongly conducted past auctions reviewed and reopened to transparent, open bidding for every eligible member — addressing one of the most longstanding grievances in the Lahore outdoor advertising community.
4. No More Policy Shocks Advance consultation before new taxes or rules, and real coordination between PHA, DHA, WCB, and LCB — the four regulatory bodies whose decisions most directly affect the outdoor advertising industry’s operational environment.
5. Growing OOH Spend Roadshows, conferences, and digital out-of-home support to bring more brand budgets into outdoor advertising year on year — the market development commitment that moves beyond internal governance to active industry growth.
6. A Level Playing Field Unregulated operators brought into the formal fold, and firm collective action against illegal boards that undercut legitimate operators and undermine the industry’s commercial integrity.
7. One Voice All Year Round Regular general body meetings and an open channel for grievances throughout the year — not just at election time. This commitment directly addresses one of the most consistent criticisms of association governance in Pakistan’s trade bodies: that members only hear from leadership when votes are needed.
The Panel — Elected, Not Selected
OBG makes a pointed distinction in its manifesto about how its panel was assembled: “Every member of our panel was elected not selected through a free and fair vote.”
The complete contesting panel:
Chairman: Adyan Sadiq Lone
President: Nisar Siddiqui
Vice President: Shoaib Ghani
General Secretary: Imran Hameed
Information Secretary: Saif Ullah
Finance Secretary: Mehwish Khan
Executive Members: Muhammad Ijaz, Mohsin Siddiqi, Bilal Butt, Ather Hussain
The Adyan Lone Factor
In conversations with multiple members of the outdoor advertising industry across Lahore, one name comes up consistently when discussing leadership qualities and industry knowledge: Adyan Sadiq Lone.
His reputation in the industry combines personal charisma with deep operational understanding of how Lahore’s outdoor advertising market actually functions — the regulatory relationships, the client dynamics, the vendor challenges, and the association governance that holds it all together.
For 70 industry professionals who are sophisticated business operators rather than ordinary voters, that combination of track record and personal credibility is a powerful electoral argument.
The question is whether the documented results OBG is presenting will prove more persuasive than the alternative vision being offered by the competing Outdoor Media Owners Group (OMOG).
MediaBites will cover both panels comprehensively ahead of the September 5 election. Stay tuned.
As reported earlier by MediaBites, the LOAA Elections 2026 feature two competing groups — OBG, under Chairman candidate Adyan Sadiq Lone, and OMOG, under President candidate M. Naeem Gill — contesting for leadership of Pakistan’s most advanced outdoor advertising market. 70 industry members will vote on September 5, 2026.
