Pakistan-based content creators may now have a better chance of earning money from Facebook, following a new monetization update introduced by the social media platform.
Previously, many users struggled to access Facebook’s monetization tools despite creating regular content. However, according to the latest update, some Facebook pages and accounts have been offered a new Content Monetization challenge that appears significantly easier than previous requirements.
Under the new challenge, eligible creators can unlock Facebook’s content monetization feature by achieving 300,000 views within 28 days. Once the requirement is met and other platform policies are satisfied, creators may become eligible to start earning revenue in U.S. dollars through their content.
The updated target is being viewed as a major opportunity for freelancers, digital creators, and page owners in Pakistan, where interest in online income streams continues to grow. Industry observers note that reaching 300,000 views in 28 days is achievable for many active pages that consistently publish engaging content.
However, creators must still comply with Facebook’s monetization policies and community guidelines, as meeting the view threshold alone does not guarantee approval.
It is important to note that this monetization challenge has not been rolled out to all Facebook accounts and pages. The feature currently appears to be available only to selected users as part of Facebook’s latest update.
