Electricity prices across the country have been reduced by Rs1.99 per unit, according to an official notification issued under the quarterly adjustment mechanism. The relief has been approved for all consumers nationwide.
The reduction has been made in the context of the January to March 2026 quarterly adjustment, while its impact will be passed on to consumers during the June to August 2026 billing cycle for three months.
Authorities confirmed that the adjustment will also apply to K-Electric consumers.
According to the notification, the decision will provide an estimated relief of Rs67.17 billion to electricity consumers across Pakistan.
