Police in Lahore have solved the murder case of 22-year-old Mehrosh after her husband, identified as Khalil, allegedly confessed to killing her during interrogation.
According to investigators, Khalil had initially filed a kidnapping case at Kahna Police Station, claiming that his wife had been abducted under mysterious circumstances.
However, police said the investigation began raising suspicions after inconsistencies appeared in his statements.
Authorities later recovered Mehrosh’s body from the Rohi drain several days after she was reported missing, turning the case into a murder investigation.
