President Asif Ali Zardari praised Pakistan women cricketers for making the nation proud with their outstanding performances against Zimbabwe.

ISLAMABAD: Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday congratulated the Pakistan women’s cricket team on their impressive series victory against the Zimbabwe women’s national cricket team, praising the players for bringing pride to the nation through their performances.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the president lauded the national side for displaying exceptional skill and determination throughout the series.
“Pakistani women cricketers have made the nation proud with their brilliant performance,” President Zardari said.
He expressed confidence that Pakistan’s female athletes would continue to succeed and elevate the country’s image at international sports competitions.
“I am hopeful that Pakistan’s daughters will continue to bring glory to the country in the field of sport,” he added.
The president also paid tribute to Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, along with the team management, for their efforts in promoting and strengthening women’s cricket in the country.
“Pakistan Cricket Board’s efforts to promote women’s cricket are commendable,” he said while praying for the continued success of the national team.
Pakistan dominated the series against Zimbabwe with strong all-round performances in both batting and bowling. The national side secured the series comfortably, continuing its positive momentum in international women’s cricket and further boosting confidence ahead of future international assignments.
