Meera, daughter of former PCB chairman Najam Sethi and sister of famous singer Ali Sethi, shared her personal story in a recent interview. She revealed that her marriage ended in March 2023, almost two and a half years ago, while she was busy shooting a drama. She admitted it was a very difficult phase, but she was fortunate to receive support from people around her.

    Talking about the challenges after separation, Meera recalled a line from one of her old dramas: “A divorced woman becomes a thorn for society.”She said that although this reflected the past, things have now changed. Many actresses, including herself, openly speak about divorce and related struggles.     Meera married her close friend Bilal Siddiqui in November 2019 in San Francisco. Their wedding pictures went viral at the time. Both had studied together at Oxford University before tying the knot.
