Serial rapist of minor was killed in Faisalabad during a police encounter on Tuesday, just a day after his arrest. According to police, the suspect, Mohsin Yasin, a refrigerator mechanic from Kot Khan Muhammad area, was accused of raping minor boys and girls, filming them, and blackmailing them with the recordings. He was taken into custody on Monday.
Serial rapist of minors was killed in Faisalabad. Police claimed Mohsin escaped from custody and entered a house on Satiana Road. Where he and his accomplices opened fire on the Crime Control Department (CCD) team. In the crossfire, he was injured, allegedly by bullets fired by his own accomplices, who managed to flee. He was taken to Allied Hospital, where he later died.
In a separate incident, another man, Mohsin Iqbal Cheema, allegedly involved in cattle thefts, was also killed in a CCD encounter near Khushal Chowk, Jhang. Police said he was hit by bullets from his accomplices during the exchange of fire.
Meanwhile, Kasur CCD police carried out a raid in Faisalabad to arrest a former SHO, Qalab Abbas Niazi, wanted in a kidnapping and murder case from January 2025. The raid was unsuccessful, and police reported that Niazi has been absent from duty since August 7.
