In a candid appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show (Season 3), Bollywood icon Salman Khan revealed he is battling serious health issues, including a brain aneurysm, arteriovenous (AV) malformation, and trigeminal neuralgia. Despite these conditions, the 59-year-old star continues to work actively in the film industry.
Promoting the OTT release of his upcoming film Sikandar, Salman shared, “I’m out here breaking my bones every day—my ribs are fractured, I have trigeminal neuralgia, a brain aneurysm, and an AV malformation—but I’m still working.”
A brain aneurysm is a bulging blood vessel in the brain that can silently grow and become life-threatening if it ruptures, causing a hemorrhagic stroke. AV malformation, another rare and potentially dangerous condition, involves tangled blood vessels that disrupt normal blood flow between arteries and veins, often in the brain or spine.
Salman’s revelation shocked fans and the industry alike, highlighting his resilience and commitment to his work despite facing serious medical challenges.
